Every once in a while we find ourselves in a darkened room listening to the heart and soul of music --- Blues and Jazz.   These places may be far from the beaten path and still filled with knowledgeable music lovers.  The musicians are seasoned veterans of soul music and they know how to pluck your heartstrings and evoke deep passions.  These types of places throughout the Caribbean and surrounding areas have stimulated me, especially after my experiences living and working in the New Orleans area.
